The Lion King Musical Theatrical Play was created in 1997, and debuted on Broadway that same year. Divided into two acts, the story tells of young Simba who is the heir to the Pride Lands - though jealousy and power hungry vultures surround him. Simba must go through an internal journey before he can rule any pridelands, but luckily he’s got some amazing friends and inspiration to guide him along the way! And luckily he’s got us - to cheer on his journey and cross our fingers for Simba to save the day! For decades, critics have called the play visual tapestry, a theatrical achievement, and intellectually inspiring! Wow - so with those reviews, we just GOT to see it when the show gets here to town!
