THE PLOT

What’s the story this time? Harry Potter is 40 years old, married to Gini Weasly Potter and they have a son named Albus Severus Potter. Now, being Harry Potter’s son has its pros and cons. Albus feels like he can never be as good as his parents. It doesn’t help too that when he arrived in Hogwarts for the first time, everybody knew of his famous father. When he got sorted into Slytherin, it was his biggest realization that he is not like his dad. He befriends a boy named Scorpius Malfoy, son of Draco Malfoy. However, Albus is more like his father than he realized, especially when he finds himself in life threatening situations. Having run-ins with death eaters, dementors and getting his hands on the invisibility cloak and a powerful time-turner – yes, it’s almost dejavu! Talented designers like Christine Jones on set, Katrina Lindsay on costume, Neil Austin on lighting, and Jamie Harrison on illusions and magic made this story into a visually stimulating experience. Meanwhile, audio wise, the production is also spectacular thanks to the work of composer and arranger Imogen Heap, sound designer Gareth Fry, and music supervisor and arranger Martin Lowe. 

Meanwhile, the touring cast comprises some of the most incredible talents in theater. Some key roles are played by Emmeth Smith as Albus Potter. John Skelly as Harry Potter, Trish Lindstrom as Ginny Potter, Ben Thys as Draco Malfoy, and Aidan Close as Scorpious Malfoy.
