“THE MOST EXCITING, MOST INVENTIVE, MOST MOVING THEATER THAT HAS EVER COME TO BROADWAY” — Newsweek

The Lion King Reimagined
A story of family, destiny, and the Circle of Life, it all boils down to a wide-eyed cub who’s destined to be the next King of the Pridelands. However, Simba’s evil uncle, Scar — the brother of Mufasa, had other plans of killing Simba & his family to take the throne for himself. After his father’s death, Simba fled the Pridelands and returned to fulfill his destiny. Hence, a journey that fully depicts the ‘circle of life.’
In the midst of it all, Simba lived in the jungle with Timon and Pumbaa until one day Nala arrived and let them know that Scar’s been abusing his power. He is then advised by Rafiki to head back and confront Scar head-to-head. Taking his rightful place as the King, it’s a breathtaking story that powerfully shakes the stage.
Based on the 1994 Walt Disney Animation Studios film, the musical stays faithful to its original storyline, perfectly depicting these beloved characters on stage. With music by Elton John and Tim Rice, the spectacle exquisitely captures the heart of its story and every single emotion that these characters bring. Of course, all the action is led by its renowned cast composed of talented actors, dancers, puppeteers, and singers. It’s truly amazing to see how these amazing people pull off a spectacular work of art. From the music, production, dialogues, and acting it’s spot-on!
